HOTEL IN ESPERANÇA. ARRONCHES 2024 - ON GOING

The project is located in the village of Esperança, a few kilometers from Spain. It starts with a pre-existing structure to construct a new rural hotel, drawing on the existing and characteristic tones, textures, and materials of the location.

The context is crucial, not only due to the surrounding landscape but also the presence of protected rock outcrops, diverse tree species, and vegetation typical of this area of ​​the Alentejo region.

The project adapts to the natural topography without imposing itself, reducing the impact of the building's volume on the landscape and aiming for the least invasive intervention possible. The social spaces open onto the landscape, while the rooms take on a more intimate character. The journey through the building itself is a sensory experience.
